The First International Conference of Dalcroze Studies
Coventry University UK, 24-26 July 2013
This event is part of the centenary celebrations of the London School of
Dalcroze Eurhythmics. It will extend our understanding of Dalcroze
Eurhythmics and the relationships between music and movement more
generally from practice-based, pedagogical, phenomenological, empirical,
neuro-scientific, philosophical, theoretical and historical perspectives.
Connections to music performance, composition and therapy, as well as
theatre, dance and the visual arts will be addressed by a wide variety of
practitioners and researchers from all over the world.
